So was the story. Budget ZERO. We picked the remains of previous fairs and set up our stand. The unexpected defined the space. Now all that "waste" would be cornered and covered with a canvas, just for being ugly. It is by treating something as beautiful what makes it beautiful.
Today we've had plenty of little tasks. Details that set up the stand gradually. Lots of questions. The rescuers' collaboration today has been amazing. They have answered questions and pushed this up. It wasn't easy, there were lots of eyes on their work. Thank you very much for your efficiency. It's basic!
On the other hand, Martí Ishi has taken his board rescued on-location. There are still 6 boards left to rescue live. Come on! We like it! If you'd like to know how much would a reskate cost, ask for a budget!

Así fue la historia. Presupuesto CERO. Cogimos los restos de otros montajes y montamos el nuestro. Lo imprevisto definió el espacio. Ahora todo eso estaría arrinconado tapado con una lona, por feo. Es el tratarlo cómo algo bonito lo que lo convierte en bonito. 
Hoy ha sido un gran baño de minitareas. Detalles que van asentando el stand. Muchas preguntas. La colaboración de los reskatadores de hoy ha sido brutal. A muchos casi no los conocíamos pero ellos nos han defendido como si llevásemos tiempo codo con codo. Han respondido dudas y han empujado esto para arriba. No era fácil,  había muchos ojos clavados en la nuca. Muchísimas gracias por vuestro buen hacer. ¡Es básico!
Por otra parte, Martí Ishi se ha llevado su tabla reskatada in situ. ¡Nos faltan 6 por reskatar en directo! ¡Va! ¡Que nos gusta! O si queréis saber cuanto os costaría un reskate, pedirnos presupuesto!

We nearly have the stand of BCN Extreme ready. It has been tough. Real West. We arrived at Forum on Thursday at 9 o'clock. It was a silent village. There were still remains of the Primavera Sound. The sheriff of the county showed us our tent. We had nothing to start the set up. We only had the reskates and their remains. Then the raids started. We discovered a stagecoach from BCNeta (cleaning services from Barcelona) that was collecting pallets. Wood! We filled the space with anything that could be useful, helped by Ester Ferruz. There starts the story.
We present a new exhibition and actions tomorrow. 14 new rescuers. 7 of them working on-location. We will prepare 10 reskates to riffle among those who bring us their old boards. And we go on dressing the saloon. Welcome.

Ya tenemos casi casi listo el stand del BCN Extreme. Ha sido duro. Puro Oeste. Llegamos al Forum el jueves a las 9h. Era un pueblo silencioso. Estaban aún los restos del primavera sound aún. El sheriff del condado nos indicó nuestra carpa. No teníamos nada para montarlo, solo reskates y sus restos. Entonces empezaron las incursiones. Descubrimos una diligencia de BCNeta que estaba recogiendo palets. Madera! Llenamos el espacio con la ayuda de Ester Ferruz con todo lo que podría ser útil. Ahí empieza esta historia.
Mañana presentamos nueva exposición y acciones. 14 reskatadores nuevos. 7 de ellos reskatando en vivo y completando la expo in situ. Por nuestra parte haremos 10 reskates a sortear entre la gente que nos traiga tablas. Y seguiremos vistiendo esta Wiskeria. Bienvenidos.

We have been invited to the BCN Extreme! We will have a stand with views over the sea. We want to fill it with all those boards that have lost their use or have ended cornered. We will select 10 boards to rescue and give back to their owner so that he can go back home on the same wood that once made him happy or mad. The first 20 to leave us their board will get a t-shirt! 
On the other hand we are going to present 15 new rescuers! There will be an exhibition with the new reskates and 5 of them will illustrate boards on-location. Soon you will discover them! Beware!

¡Nos han invitado al Extreme! Tendremos un stand con vistas al mar. Queremos llenarlo de todas esas tablas que ya han perdido su uso o se han quedado arrinconadas. Seleccionaremos 10 para reskatar y volver a entregar al propietario el mismo día para que vuelva a casa patinando la misma madera que le dio tantas alegrías y disgustos. ¡Los 20 primeros tienen una camiseta asegurada!

Our youngest son PauBo has illustrated this reskate for an order. Any skater. This guy is a blast. You are going to hear his name. He is going to enter your mind and take out your perversion. Smile!
The first reskate order. In the beginning there were a lot of orders, but when people knew the price they backed down. One has to understand that there is a very powerful craft job behind. However, we are working in order to reproduce illustrations and make copies of the designs to suit everyone's pockets.

Nuestro benjamín PauBo se ha currado este encargo de reskate. Un patinador cualquiera. Este muchacho va a reventarlo todo. Vais a oír su nombre. Va a entrar en vuestra cabeza y va a sacar la perversión de cada uno. Sonreír!
El primer encargo de reskate. Al principio hubo muchas demandas pero al saber el precio muchos se echaron atrás. Hay que entender que hay un trabajo artesano detrás bastante potente. Estamos trabajando para poder reproducir ilustraciones y hacer tiradas para repatinar al alcance de todos.

When Reskate! was still an uncontrolled outbreak, Juan Fernández contacted us. He presented himself as an skate freak and a copy at Tiempo BBDO. He was freaking with the idea. He had indeed all the makings of a rescuer. We dated him to see what happened. He showed up wide-eyed. We could see the white around his iris almost all the time. Like a crazy who finally finds what he was looking for. Brilliant ideas came out from this meeting. Ideas that we developed in our cloud, like for example the video of Reskateboarding is not a crime. He helped us to write our manifiesto and to get the claim of our t-shirts. Unpayable things. Therefore to thank him for his help we got an idea. Making a pen-shaped reskate drawn with a pen for the copywriter. We hope that his insanity comes with us for a long time. Thanks Juan!

Cuando Reskate aún era un brote incontrolado nos contactó Juan Fernández. Se nos presento como un fanático del mundo skate y, a parte, copy de Tiempo BBDO. Le flipaba la idea y, realmente, era madera de reskate. Quedamos con él a ver que surgía. Se presentó con los ojos muy abiertos, casi todo el rato se le veía blanco al rededor de su iris. Un loco que había encontrado algo que deseaba. Salieron ideas brillantes. Tanteos que luego desarrollamos en nuestra nube, como por ejemplo el video de Reskateboarding is not a crime. Nos ayudó también a hacer el manifiesto y a sacar el lema de las camisetas. Cosas impagables. Para agradecerle tal tarea incitadora sólo se nos ocurrió una cosa. Hacerle un reskate-boli Bic hecho con boli bic al redactor. Y desear que su locura nos siga mucho tiempo. Gracias Juan!

La seriedad nos obliga a acelerar el proceso y la cantidad. ¡Tenemos mucho trabajo pero nos faltan tablas! Necesitamos nuestra materia prima. Necesitamos esas tablas que ya no usáis o que ya no tienen Pop. Os las cambiamos por camisetas! Patinad niños, patinad...

Al Reskate!

Esto empezó como una exposición de nuestras tablas. Se nos ocurrió hacer alguna pequeña colaboración con algún amigo. Y...zzzzzzzzap! El resultado es una forma de vida nueva. Dentro de una barriga donde nos han ido alimentando sin nuestro consentimiento (¡No éramos conscientes para hacerlo solos!).  Nos hincharon y nos dijeron: ¡Id hacia la luuuuuuuuz! ¡Es buena! ¡Ahí dentro ya no cabéis! 
Hola mundo borroso. Gracias por hincharnos. Ahora empieza el juego. A buscar la consciencia!

Es brutal ese día que te llaman por lo que haces. Han visto como te mueves y te quieren cerca. Hola día! Ya es cosa seria! El festival de hip-hop de Barcelona cree en esta iniciativa. Vamos a estar ahí reskatando! Festival! Ya podemos abrir una sección que se llame festivales! 

Ya está, ya pasó. El desmontaje fué rapido pero se complicó en el momento en que nos dijeron que no se podian mandar más de 30kg por correo. Gracias a la ayuda de Irene, Nil Bartolozzi y Ocho Cuervos dividimos el avecrem en 3 partes que ya están de vuelta. Nos hemos quedado con ganas de más! Vamos a volver. Ay Berlín, Berlín... 
Aprovechamos para anunciar que la subasta sigue en pie hasta el viernes 6 a las 24h. Quedan 5 días.  Que hay muchas tablas por las que aún nos se ha pujado! Vamos a ir actualizando los precios. Kontuz!
